Wij hebben hoge verwachtingen. Hoge verwachtingen van textiel, maar ook hoge verwachtingen om de wereld een betere plek te maken. Met The Swapshop willen we de textielbergen verkleinen, maar naast het ruilen wordt ook de hoop op niet-ruilbare kleding groter. Wij zijn hoopvol over oplossingen. Sinds we aan dit avontuur zijn begonnen, werken we samen met partners om manieren te vinden om deze hoop te verminderen.

The Re:Dyed collection is made entirely from old denim that is no longer wearable. Instead of being thrown away, shredded, or downcycled into lower-value products, the fabric is given a new life through upcycling. Upcycling is the most circular and sustainable way to keep materials in use. Made from 100% denim, each bag preserves the strength and character of the original jeans while gaining new value. Every tote is functional, durable, and ready to be used again and again, giving denim a life that lasts.

Over de missie van Humana, kleding inzamelen, investeren in sociale projecten en duurzaamheid, niet-ruilbare kleding gaat naar Humana om te sorteren, wat doet Humana met de kleding, jeans geselecteerd uit hun recyclecategorie die er anders wel geweest zouden zijn?

Tonello, WAKE-technologie, organisch afval, geen giftige stoffen, logo gelaserd, elke tas is uniek vanwege de iets andere kleur.
Bijna geen impact
Duurzamer dan geüpcyclede modeaccessoires bestaat niet. Geen kunststoffen, geen leer, geen ritsen etc. Monomateriaal en waarom monomateriaal belangrijk is. Impact op het gebied van recycling van jeans en vergelijkbare tassen uit nieuwe materialen. Ontworpen voor recycleerbaarheid, zodat ze aan het einde van hun levensduur gemakkelijk gerecycled kunnen worden.
